High-purity calibration standards for elemental analysis
VHG was founded in 1981 as an independent analytical testing laboratory and expanded in 1984 into the commercial manufacture of high-purity single- and multi-element calibration standards for spectroscopic instrumentation.
The VHG portfolio includes aqueous and oil-based elemental standards, petroleum standards, metallo-organic materials, instrument consumables and proficiency-testing products for ICP, ICP-MS, AA, XRF and related analytical techniques.
VHG became part of LGC Standards in 2012. Today the brand is supported by accredited reference-material production and testing capabilities, including ISO 17034, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17043 activities across relevant products and schemes.
